To prevent there from being one best ship that people spam, I want to break ships up by class and have each class of ship have strengths and weaknesses.

This will largely be done by moving abilities like Nuke from a module that can be equipped to any ship to a specific ship class that can use the nuke ability.

The idea behind this change is I can make the abilities much better than they currently are and have the ship's stats lowered to compensate for how good the ability is.

Abilities like Nuke and Mega-Railgun will have a warning on the ship that is about to be hit 3 seconds before the ability is launched, giving the victim a chance to brace, heal, or escape the attack.

Types of Ships:[edit source]

Fighter Squadron - Fast Attack Ships. Low Hull, Low Armor, No Shield, High Evasion

Ability: Evasive Maneuvers - Moves the ship to a random available slot.

Repair ship - Support. Low DPS, Med Hull, Med Hull, Low Shield, Medium evasion

Ability: Insta-Repair - Instantly restores 500+ Hull HP of target ally ship.

Ships in this class:

  • Aegis Repair Ship
  • Minerva Repair Ship (Elite)
  • Tracker (Alien) (Existing)


Shield Generator - Support. Low DPS, Low Hull, Med Hull, High Shield, Medium evasion

Ability: Energy Shield - Adds 500+ Shield to target ally ship.

Ships in this class:

  • Aegis (Elite) (Existing)
  • Plasma Generator (Alien) (Existing)


Frigate - Armored Attack Ship. Medium DPS, Medium Hull, High Armor, Low Shield, Medium evasion

Ability: Draw Fire - Draws 50% of automatic incoming fire for 10 seconds.

Ships in this class:


Destroyer - Attack Ship. High DPS, Low Hull, Medium Armor, Low Shield, Low evasion

Ability: Onslaught - Attacks deal 50% more damage and ship takes 50% more incoming damage for 10 seconds.

Dreadnought - High Stats but no special ability. High Hull, Medium Armor, Medium Shield, Low evasion

Nuclear - Ship with lower stats but the ability to launch nukes. Med Hull, Low Armor, No Shield, Medium evasion

Ability: Nuke - Prepares for launch for 3 seconds then fires a nuke at the target. Deals medium damage to multiple targets.

Railgun Ship - A ship that is one big railgun, No Weapon Module Slots, Medium Hull, Medium Armor, Low Shield, Low evasion

Ability: Railgun - Charges up for 3 seconds then fires a devastating attack against target enemy ship.


EMP Ship - Stun + Shield depletion, low DPS, Medium Hull, Low Armor, Low Shield, Medium evasion


Guise Ship - Medium DPS, Medium Hull, Medium Armor, High Shield, Medium evasion (alien only)

Passive: Enters battle disguised as a heavy hitting ship when it is actually a tanking ship.

Ability: Draw Fire - Draws 50% of incoming automatic fire for 10 seconds.


Deflection Ship - Medium DPS, Medium Hull, Low Armor, High Shield, Medium evasion (alien only)

Ability: Deflector Shields - Negates all incoming damage against target ally ship for 4 seconds.


Capital Ship - (Limit 1 per fleet) Fleet wide buffs which are lost when the capital ship is lost. High Hull, High Armor, High Shield.

Passive: Increases damage dealt by ally ships by 20%, Decreases damage taken by ally ships by 20%.

Ability: Focus Fire - Every ally ship has a 50% chance of redirecting their attacks to the chosen target.


Abilities shared by all ships:

Brace - Cuts power to weapons temporarily and reduces incoming damage by 50% for 4 Seconds.
