Where to start once in-game[edit | edit source]

After the short starting cutscene you get dropped right into the game without many limits place on you, and without holding your hand.

This lack of handholding can make it hard to know where to start when first playing Exoplanets Online.

To understand where to start it is helpful to know what the game is all about.

What EO is all about -

Every new Corporation starts out with a newly colonized habitable exoplanet and an entire starter solar system safe from attack by other players.

Phase 1 of the game is building up your starting planet, and colonizing all the other planets in your starting system before venturing onto the starmap where you will encounter other players.

The ultimate goal of EO is to expand your corporation from a single empty planet to a large empire spanning multiple solar systems.

Starting Resources:

A 100% habitability planet, perfect for building Habitats.

Spacecraft: One T1 Falcon class fighter, One T1 Turtle class fighter, One Colony Ship.

Resources: (in cubic meters) 75 Steel Bars, 40 Copper Bars, 30 Lead Bars, 75 Quartz, 100 Concrete

Consumables: 200 Fruit, 200 Meat, 200 Wine, 200 Bread, 200 Beer, 50 HabSuits, 100 Research Points.

Upon first entering the game the first thing you should do is check the "Missons" screen, with the missons button on the right hand side of the screen.

Completing these missions in order serves as the new game tutorial and will get your economy started with the correct build order.

After completing each mission you will get the resources to build the next building on the missions list.
